I know its been a while sense I have posed anything on the blog, but now that Tour of Georgia is over, the next race for me is Tour of Gila in Silver City, NM. (http://www.tourofthegila.com) Tour of Gila is a 4day race with tons of climbing. I feel good about going here because remember back in January, a few of my teammates and I had a training camp for just about a month in Silver City and all of our riders covered the very roads that TOG will cover. The last stage of Gila has about 5500ft of climbing.
After TOG, I go home and I get every other weekend on the road before Philly week (procyclingtour.com) and Canada for Tour De Beauce (www.tourdebeauce.com)
Everything else is pretty good, I feel healthy and ready to race again. Today was 32 1/2 hrs easy on the beach and 40min on the rollers while I watch the Los Angeles Clippers beat down the Denver Nuggets.

It was nice finally getting to meet you at the Little 500. Hope you had fun. Sorry we couldn't do better at the race but I assure you we'll be back next year.
Cheers,
Dave

davfoond,
It was good to meet you as well. No worries about the race, just know that you can only get better. Cycling is a hard sport and sometimes you dont see good results for a long time. BUt you have to keep pumping away at it and then one day you will kick ass and not know where it came from. I may be your coach next year so get reasy.
