Super Week day 3
Tables Turn…Well sort off!!!
Today’s race is known to be one of the toughest races at super week. Mike, Brad and myself road to the race and we all suffered really badly, but Brad got into a 6-man group that lapped the field.
With 20 laps to go, the same team that took my front wheel out in yesterday’s crit, did the same thing today but it was the back wheel. Now I have no race wheels.
10 to go, I’m looking for Brad and he is no where to be found. 5 to go, still no Brad. 2 to go, brad pops up and I just tell him to hold on to me and ill get him up the hill.
It worked out; I hit it hard up the hill, over taking Sierra Nevada’s train and dropped Brad off with just over a half a lap to go in 5th position.
As we turned the last corner, I set up to see the sprint and it was clear…Brad wins by a whole lot.
So, we get a win. 2nd NRC win for Cref this year.
